For the Line B map, we have chosen a design that deviates from the usual. Our goal was to create something more modern, aligning better with the aesthetics of contemporary subways, while remaining clear and practical at the same time.

Facts about Rome Metro Line B
- Line B was inaugurated on February 9, 1955, as the first line of the Rome Metro network to become operational.
- Originally designed during the fascist regime in the 1930s, it was intended to connect Termini station with the E42 district for the 1942 Universal Exhibition.
- Some incomplete tunnels of Line B were used as air-raid shelters during World War II.
- In 1990, the line was extended to the Rebibbia station, and in 2012, it was further expanded with the B1 branch.
- Line B is characterized by its blue color and carries an estimated 345,000 passengers per day.
- It connects the city from south to northeast, with termini at Laurentina, Rebibbia, and Jonio, covering a wide urban area.
